Fascination for shadows and the singularity they possess inspired the work Singularity. Through the use of free hanging plexiglass sheets and video projections this work captures the translucent and serene quality of shadows created by the sun. Through rhythmic looping of the video, the installation translates the shadows into paused moments that invite contemplation.
